Role Overview:

As a WordPress/Shopify Developer at Digital Six, you will play a crucial role in crafting cutting-edge websites and e-commerce solutions for our clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving business growth and optimising online presence. This role demands someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilise your expertise in HTML, Java, PHP, MYSQL, and React to develop and customise WordPress websites and Shopify themes according to client specifications.
• Be able to deliver web projects in time, in scope and within budget.
• Implement GA and GTM tracking to monitor website performance and user behaviour, ensuring seamless integration and accurate data tracking.
• Collaborate with design teams using Figma to bring creative visions to life, ensuring designs are translated into functional and visually stunning websites.
• Optimise websites for SEO, implementing Htag hierarchy and other best practices to enhance visibility and drive organic traffic.
• Integrate APIs and SMPT for enhanced functionality and seamless communication between platforms.
• Leverage your experience in web optimisation to improve page speed and enhance user experience across devices.
• Ensure successful deployment of websites and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the process.
   

Qualifications/Experience:

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in WordPress development and Shopify theme setup is a must
• Proficient in crafting fully optimised websites to enhance user experience and improve performance metrics such as page load times, responsiveness, and search engine rankings.
• Previous agency experience is a must
• Proficiency in HTML, Javascript, PHP, MYSQL, React, CSS and Figma Design.
• Experience with GA and GTM implementation tracking, API integration, and SMPT.
• Understanding and use of Elementor Pro, Gutenberg, ACF Custom Fields and experience in utilising these to build bespoke custom templates
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and website optimisation techniques.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• The desire for continuous learning and growth, with a strong work ethic to excel and advance in your career.
