The role:
As WHS Manager, you'll lead Work Health and Safety compliance and provide specialised guidance in line with WHS legislation. Your role involves building credible stakeholder relationships, driving new safety initiatives and regulatory changes, and fostering a positive safety culture through cross-team collaboration. You'll play a pivotal role in strategic projects, creating effective communication methods across all levels, and guiding the development and implementation of a comprehensive safety culture at Warrigal.
To be successful you will need:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Work Health & Safety or related field
- Substantial and proven experience in a similar role
- Ability to interpret and apply legislation, offering specialised WHS and WC advice.
- Experience in investigations, audits, policy & systems development, and strategic planning.
- Skills in building effective workplace relationships with a proactive approach to WHS problem-solving.
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Track record of client-focused service delivery, achieving business outcomes across multiple projects and deadlines.
- Dedication to quality customer service and continual improvement initiatives.
- Current NSW Driver’s license
