Take a lead role in the development of Work Integrated Learning (WIL) at Charles Darwin University.
About the PositionAs the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Officer, you will be responsible for positively contributing to the Faculty’s Professional Experience and Placements Program to ensure that student placements for required courses as directed are arranged successfully. This will be achieved through creating, developing, and managing effective systems and processes as well as enhancing relationships with placement facilities in collaboration with team members, academics and associated Industry.
Supporting WIL and assisting study abroad experiences for students within identified partnerships of the Faculty of Arts and Society. The position will work with the Faculty WIL Manager and academic staff in the facilitation of placements and coordination of Work Integrated Learning initiatives across the range of programs offered within the Faculty.
About YouTo be successful, you will require:
A Degree with subsequent relevant experience or extensive relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and/or education/training.
Demonstrated high level digital literacy skill, especially competency in Microsoft Office suite, with particular focus on Microsoft Excel, to evaluate trends and maintain accurate student records.
Demonstrable ability to conduct effective administration duties to a high level of competence, with attention to detail, and where appropriate maintain confidentiality.
Excellent oral communication and cross-cultural skills and an understanding of the principles of customer service to provide a professional approach to meeting the case management needs of students.
Ability to operate effectively in a team, contributing positively to team operations, working relationships and workload sharing.
Demonstrated ability to work, with guidance, to agreed priorities and outputs, manage timelines, and meet required standards.
Knowledge of or experience in one of the following areas is desirable:o Business, Accounting and Lawo Educationo Humanitarian Aid and Development

Remuneration Appointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 5. The base salary will be in the range of $72,061 – $83,249 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $84,311 - $97,401 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
