Full time, continuing appointment 
Professional Employee Level 3/4 Salary $65,909 to $70,665
Plus 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leave

About the Position
Accommodation Services offers a range of on-campus accommodation options, including International House Darwin (IHD), which is situated on the Casuarina Campus of Charles Darwin University.

As a Guest Services Officer you will be the primary point of contact for guests at IHD as well as the various internal and external stakeholders relevant to operating a university accommodation precinct. Your duties will include responding to queries and requests for room bookings, maintaining accurate accounts for each customer, liaising with contractors regarding minor repairs and reconciling financial transactions. 

About You
To be successful, you will require:

  • Completion of a Cert Ill in business, administration, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Demonstrated commitment providing a high level of guest service including an aptitude for resolution of guest problems regarding financial matters.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail when interruptions are frequent and priorities are constantly changing.
  • Demonstrated efficient administrative capacity, including the ability to establish work priorities and work to deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural, team environment including contributing to team decision-making and setting of priorities.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with people from a broad range of cultural and language backgrounds while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.

Remuneration 
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 3/4. The base salary will be in the range of $65,909 - $70,665 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $77,113 - $82,678 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
