Key Responsibilities
As a Workday Industry Lead, you should expect to source, cultivate, and be ultimately responsible for success of industry specific Workday pursuits through both sales and implementation having following responsibilities:
Build and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners
Work from start to finish on industry specific technology transformation pursuits with the ability to step in at any stage of the sales or project lifecycle.
Leverage industry expertise to develop and support cost effective blueprints, estimates, and conceptual designs.
Be recognized internally and externally for their deep functional or industry expertise, domain knowledge, or offering expertise.
Align technology with business strategy and goals, work directly with the client gathering requirements to analyse, design and/or implement technology best practice business changes.
Serve as a practice thought leader related to digital industry transformation and the digital employee experience
Advise clients in their industry technology decisions and strategies
Solution and deliver integrated offerings that enable a client’s digital employee experience through Workday
Define project scope with key stakeholders and effectively manage milestones and dependencies.
Support the management of financial, contractual, and operational commitments.
Lead teams of consultants and clients to reach their implementation and transformation goals on time and within budget
Your skills and Qualifications:
Current industry specific knowledge of the Workday platform
Proven experience with the Delivery and Sales of at least 2 major Workday Implementations
Previous consulting and services sales experience or congruent professional experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software company
Ability and willingness to travel
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience with pre-sale and sales activities
