Key Responsibilities

As a Workday Industry Lead, you should expect to source, cultivate, and be ultimately responsible for success of industry specific Workday pursuits through both sales and implementation having following responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners

  • Work from start to finish on industry specific technology transformation pursuits with the ability to step in at any stage of the sales or project lifecycle.

  • Leverage industry expertise to develop and support cost effective blueprints, estimates, and conceptual designs.

  • Be recognized internally and externally for their deep functional or industry expertise, domain knowledge, or offering expertise.

  • Align technology with business strategy and goals, work directly with the client gathering requirements to analyse, design and/or implement technology best practice business changes.

  • Serve as a practice thought leader related to digital industry transformation and the digital employee experience

  • Advise clients in their industry technology decisions and strategies

  • Solution and deliver integrated offerings that enable a client’s digital employee experience through Workday

  • Define project scope with key stakeholders and effectively manage milestones and dependencies.

  • Support the management of financial, contractual, and operational commitments.

  • Lead teams of consultants and clients to reach their implementation and transformation goals on time and within budget

Your skills and Qualifications:

  • Current industry specific knowledge of the Workday platform

  • Proven experience with the Delivery and Sales of at least 2 major Workday Implementations

  • Previous consulting and services sales experience or congruent professional experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software company

  • Ability and willingness to travel

  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Experience with pre-sale and sales activities
