Bass Coast Health (BCH) is the sub-regional health service for the Bass Coast and South Gippsland Shires, with sites at Wonthaggi, Cowes, San Remo and dozens of staff on the road to wherever we are needed.

About the Role
The Administration Officer –Workforce Bureau, will be responsible for assisting the workforce (nursing and medical) resource requirements for the organisation 7 days a week. This will include but is not limited to; Nurse Pool / Bank and external Agency. With the support and direction of the rostered Health Service Coordinator (HSC), Clinical Directors and Chief Medical Officer this position will manage the rostering of agency, casual, medical and nurse pool staff, arrange replacements for unplanned leave, accommodation, provide support with recruitment and onboarding, relevant competencies, communications, invoicing and timesheet administration, as well as other administrative tasks as required.
About You
You must also meet the following requirements:
MANDATORY:
- A valid Police Check
- COVID-19 Vaccinations in accordance with the Chief Health Officer COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Directions
- Current Flu Vaccination
- A valid Working with Children check
- Advanced computer skills and ability to utilise common software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
- Roster co-ordination experience
- Self-motivated individual who can work autonomously in a fast-paced role as well as adapt to working in a team environment
- Demonstrated problem solving ability to identify and propose practical solutions to problems
- Proven commitment to provide excellent customer service and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated knowledge of e-recruit system or other recruitment programs
- Knowledge of relevant Health Care Enterprise Agreements (EA’s)
- Health industry experience
