We are looking for people with experience and drive to lead and support the coordinated delivery of programs, projects and policy in a dynamic, supportive and fast-paced team.
This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
About the Team: The Major Health Projects and Infrastructure (MHPI) Directorate leads the development of strategies and planning of infrastructure assets for the system. The MHPI Directorate is expanding to support key infrastructure programs and projects, with vacancies across 2 branches:
- Infrastructure: Provides planning, management, evaluation, oversight, and quality assurance of ongoing infrastructure functions for the system. Teams within the Infrastructure branch include the Policy and Planning Team, Systemwide Programs and Projects (including responsibilities for management of medical equipment replacement programs), Asset Investment Evaluation and Reporting, and Grants and Special Agreements.
- Major Health Projects: Supports the development and delivery of Major Health Projects valued over $6.4 billion and spanning more than 120 projects across WA. Some of our current major projects within the portfolio include the New Women’s and Babies Hospital Project, Bunbury and Geraldton Hospital Redevelopment Projects, and Peel Health Campus Transformation Project, and more.
About You: We are looking to build a team of people who have skills and experience in the following areas:
- Project and program management
- Financial analysis (infrastructure, capital assets and major projects)
- Communications, liaison and diverse stakeholder engagement
- Business support and process improvement
To be successful in our team, you will need to have:
- Skill and experience with any one or a combination of the following:
- Project management or support
- Program management or support
- Policy development
- Financial analysis
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply these to ensure high quality advice and project delivery.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to manage a broad range of stakeholders and influence without formal power in an inter-organisational setting.
- Agility and the ability to respond to uncertainty as an opportunity.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/05/2027.
