As the
Workforce Forecasting Specialist, you will lead and support the delivery of a
Workforce Forecasting Model within Operations Group in a project capacity.Reporting to the Operations Analytics and Support Manager, you will provide strategic thinking and analytical insight to support the delivery of a
Workforce Forecasting model and process across our blue-collar workforce within Operations.You will work with relevant leaders, technical specialists, support & analytical roles across Operations, Finance, People and Asset planning Groups to inform and optimise our long-term work and resourcing plans.What’s on Offer?

What you’ll do
- Work with the Operations and Analytics team to establish and maintain the Workforce Forecasting model and process across Operations
- Lead the data identification and cleansing process for the Workforce Forecasting model to be populated with valid and reliable data
- Lead the analysis process, working with the Finance, Asset Planning, Maintenance & Reliability, People and Regional Teams to validate their data, make assumptions and create insights on current and future workforce trends
- Identify possible short, medium and long-term strategies to address resourcing challenges and opportunities reflected in the data, identify areas of resourcing risk and opportunities
- Engage and influence key stakeholders within the Operations Group and across the business on the Workforce Forecasting process, model, assumptions, and insights for decision-making
Previous experienceYour background in
