The Role:
The Workforce Officer will support our Workforce Planning Manager to ensure participant supports and staff rosters are delivered on time and within compliance requirements. This role involves creating jobs on base rosters, backfilling planned and unplanned leave, and managing staff templates for award and guaranteed hours compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create jobs on a base roster, ensuring participant funding is correctly used and staffing is allocated according to skills and requirements.
- Backfill planned and unplanned leave on rosters.
- Create and staff casual jobs as required.
- Manage and maintain staff templates to ensure compliance with awards and guaranteed hours.
- NDIS exposure with a minimum of 1 year of recent experience in the disability sector.
- Ability to read and interpret business rules.
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and language).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in workforce planning or rostering for at least six months.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
- Organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Skedulo, Lumary, or SAGE systems.
- Knowledge of the SCHADS Award
- Experience in the human services sector and award interpretation and analysis.
- Full-time position
- Shift and weekend work required (1 in 4 weekends)
- On-call, as needed.
