About the Opportunity
As a Workforce Planning Specialist, you will champion the engagement and development of the Workforce Planning Rostering system and provide proactive customer service and support, while maintaining a focus on the day-to-day functionality of the system.
In this role you will be responsible for supporting key stakeholders and working with leadership and People + Culture teams to ensure an integrated approach to solutions for our businesses. Strong communication, teamwork and technical skills are essential.
What you will be doing:
- Develop, coordinate and assist in maintaining rosters for employees covered by the Flight Centre Agreement, General Retail Award, Clerical Award, Finance Award and other legislative instruments in line with contractual requirements
- Deliver and analyse daily data reports to Workforce Planning Team
- Optimise rostering practices while working with Leaders to implement effective roster patterns to match business requirements and minimise pay risk
- Manage and prioritise individual workload in conjunction with supporting other team members to ensure a high level of customer support, compliance, and system reporting
- Work cohesively to achieve the goals of the Workforce Planning Team and FCTG with the ability to recognise and understand the viewpoints and priorities of others and the team
- Develop and facilitate training sessions with Retail Leaders to ensure roster compliance, knowledge and understanding of the awards and obligations under the Flight Centre Agreement (EBA) and other relevant provisions to rostering and overtime
You'll be perfect for the role if you have:
- Minimum 12 months' experience in rostering/Workforce Planning and/or payroll
- Experience with a rostering system - Humanforce/TimeTarget systems experience is highly desirable
- Highly organised approach to work
- Multi-tasks by managing a range of tasks & activities on a daily basis
- Prioritise and manages time effectively
- Ability to work unsupervised whilst achieving outcomes within a team environment
- Strong focus on customer service responding to internal customer queries
- Strategic and effective communication skills in a multi-disciplinary/geographically dispersed environment
- Demonstrated ability to successfully communicate, negotiate and influence objectives with stakeholders
- Relevant business qualification
- FCTG/Travel and Tourism industry experience is a bonus
