The role
- Your passion and enthusiasm will see you lead a classroom by effectively engaging with educators, families, children and the wider community to implement the educational program for our Kindergarten children
- You will be responsible for the day to day management of your classroom and flexible routines
- You will work as a lead educator to provide creative learning experiences
- You will mentor and lead your room team to include collaboration, reflection and respect
- You will have extensive knowledge of the EYLF, transition statements and understanding of the NQF/NQS
- You will demonstrate an excellent understanding of the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines
- You will work at all times in compliance with Government Regulations to meet high quality standards
- You will network with relevant stakeholders in the local community
- You will provide a comprehensive transition to school program
About you
- Working Towards or Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA
- Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications
- Current Working with Children Check
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively lead a room environment
- Excellent understanding of the EYLF and NQF
