Workplace Barber Trainer

Barber Temple, South Brisbane is on the hunt for a superstar Workplace Trainer to join our growing team!

This role involves delivering workplace training and assessment to our growing cohort of Barber apprentices across Southeast Queensland, and includes: 

• Deliver practical and theory-based training and assessment services in the workplace.  
• Demonstrate what it means to be a great barber and inspire our apprentices and industry partners to develop their skills and career pathways.
• Manage apprentice progression and unit outcomes. 
• Communicate to provide feedback to apprentices and employers, to facilitate the best training experience possible.
• Build strong, open and honest relationships with our apprentices, employers and industry partners. 
• Provide learning support to those apprentices with identified needs.

The role would suit someone from the barbering or hairdressing industry who wants to take the next step in sharing their knowledge and developing the next generation of barbers. We want someone who loves variety and a fast-paced environment, and is organised, great at multi-tasking, and passionate about the barbering industry.

We set out to change that and give Barbers a place to call their own. Putting Australia’s leading educators and the best products, tools and equipment from around the world under one roof seems like an obvious solution to a question that has been asked for years, but it’s taken a combination of good timing and the right people to bring it together. What we’re looking for in you… 

• A confident communicator with an ability to deliver exceptional training.  
• A minimum of 3 or more years experience in the barbering or hairdressing industry. 
• An open-minded, collaborative attitude and a willingness to learn. 
• An organised, pro-active work-ethic. 
• A commitment to the role and passion for the industry. 
• A willingness to travel in and around southeast Queensland. 

Required: 

• Certificate III Barbering and/or Hairdressing
• 3+ years industry experience 
• Own vehicle 

Preferred: 

• Certificate IV Training and Assessment
