We are seeking an experienced, positive, and enthusiastic WH&S and ICC to join our team. The position reports directly to the Director of Clinical Services.
This is a 12month fixed term, part-time contract, offering 40hrs per fortnight within the WH&S role, and 24hrs per fortnight as the ICC.
About the Role
The WH&S Coordinator function of this role will see you effectively support the National Safety Team and National Safety Manager in the management of the company safety management system (RamAusSMS) and the promotion of work Health and Safety across the two sites.
The Infection Control Coordinator function of this role will see you developing, implementing, and evaluating an effective infection prevention and control program at by leading the standardisation of services and promotion of best practice. You will also provide support and leadership clinical and non-clinical departments related to the prevention and management of risk associated with Infection Control.
Your Skills and Experience
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- At least Five (5) years post-graduate experience in an area of specialty
- Experience in Work Health and Safety and demonstrated knowledge in relevant WHS legislation
- Qualifications in WH&S, and quality and Infection Control practices highly regarded
- Experience in managing and coordinating the rehabilitation and return to work of injured and ill workers
- Hand Hygiene Gold Standard Auditor Certificate
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective skills in planning, time management, problem solving and decision making
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
Desirable;
- Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment
- Member of the Australasian College for Infection Prevention and Control or equivalent
- Nurse Immuniser Certificate / qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge / experience in National Clinical Indicators and other quality projects.

- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
