The Workplace Trainer-Careers Advisor is a regional role that supports Echuca Regional Health, Cohuna District Hospital, Kyabram District Health and Rochester-Elmore District Health services.
The Workplace Trainer / Careers Advisor is responsible for providing essential training and career advice to the following streams under the Health & Allied, Managers & Administrative Workers Enterprise Agreement:
Stream 1: Administration
The Administration Stream includes all staff performing an administrative role.
Stream 2: Support Services
The Support Services Stream includes all staff in Food and General Services.
The Workplace Trainer/Careers Advisor is required to deliver training and assessment services in the Health Industry. They will be required to teach competencies from training packages across Certificate II to a Diploma level in classifications in which they hold a qualification. The Workplace Trainer-Careers Advisor provides career coaching and advice of potential future training and employment within the health industry including exploration of suitable traineeships.
The ideal candidate would have a certificate IV in training and assessment, or equivalent or the ability to acquire such within the role.
Must have a valid driver's licence
