AddressOur client is a Global Leader in Mining Equipment Manufacturing and is a respected brand in the local market. We are looking for multiple Boilermakers to support their Longwall Underground Mining overhauls section for a short term shutdown that has the potential to continue for an ongoing basis.
What's Involved?
- Strip, assess and rebuild of Longwall Systems to underground mining standard
- Crack repairs
- Small Fabrication work
- Air arc gouging
What we're looking for:
- Trade Qualification or recent and relevant Welding experience
- Must have flux core experience
- Experience on underground mining equipment preferred
- Must be able to pass a weld test
- Attention to detail and industry standards
- Excellent work references that can support your application
What we can offer you:
- $57.76 / hour casual rate
- Overtime available with full penalties
- 6 AM - 3 PM normal working hours
- Potential for ongoing work
- Maitland region based
- Ongoing support from your Randstad team
- Mid June expected project start
