We seek a Workshop Controller with a Mechanical Trade qualification to run the day-to-day installation operation.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your key responsibilities include:-
- Supervision of, training, mentoring and leading a team of accessory installers including apprentices
- Ensure communication between the Customer Service team and Technicians
- Quality checking of technicians work prior to leaving the workshop
- Assist with driveway diagnostics. Example, fault finding
- Scheduling of accessory installations
- Processing of warranty parts
- Create and promote an exceptional customer service experience
- Promote a culture of workplace cleanliness and tool care
About You
- Ability to lead, motivate, support and work effectively with a small team
- An experienced trade person with strong technical competence and an eager ability to learn and trouble shoot
- Excellent communication skills
- Honest and reliable team player, with a friendly and positive can-do attitude
- Ability to problem solve, meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure
- Ability to communicate with customers in a professional manner
- An eye for detail and quality
- Ability to drive WHS culture and a strong understanding of WHS principles
- Must hold a relevant Mechanical Trade Qualification
