Pre-Delivery Workshop Controller - Automotive Dealership
This position requires you to oversee the Pre-Delivery workshop including engaging with Fitters and Technicians to ensure that efficiency and productivity targets are achieved in line with company and manufacturers KPI’s.
Ensure a high standard of quality fitment and service work is maintained. You will be responsible for the growth of the workshop's technical skill, by sharing your industry knowledge and experience.
This high-volume fast paced Pre-Delivery centre is servicing no less than 4 top 10 selling brands, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
With constant growth in this award-winning dealership there is now the opportunity for a Pre-Delivery Workshop Controller to join our Pre-Delivery Department.
This rare opportunity for a suitably qualified candidate to take up the challenge of running the Pre-Delivery workshop of 19 Fitters, Techs and Trade Assistants to ensure efficiency and productivity on jobs and ultimately provide exceptional customer satisfaction to our many loyal clients.
Position Description

• Assist with the workshop continuity of repairs, Accessory fitment, and servicing.
• Support the team to reach and achieve workshop budgets and targets.
• Monitor and follow-up fitment processes for complete customer satisfaction.
• Cultivate clear and open communication between Pre-Delivery and the Sales teams.
• Maintain a productive working environment within the Pre-Delivery Workshop
• Monitor, record and identify the cause of vehicle carryover and reworks.
• Allocate workload to Fitters and technicians to ensure accessories are fitted correctly and in a timely manner.

Servicing multiple brands with a Pre-Delivery department consisting of 19 fitters, Techs and Trade assistants.
Attractive Remuneration package – Salary of $80000 per year + Super
Hours of work – 8.00am to 4.00pm with a half hour lunch break.
Mon - Friday working week.

To be considered for this role you must have the following:

• Current drivers’ license.
• Strong commitment towards safe work practices.
• Good written and verbal communications skills and able to use them appropriately at a variety of levels.
• Able to work within tight repair time schedules.
• Previous Experience or Qualified Technician would be highly regarded.
• Developed mechanical knowledge.
• Reliability and punctuality are your strong points.
• Ability to follow dealership procedures consistently.
