Due to continued growth, an excellent Permanent Full-Time career opportunity has arisen for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our On Highway Team in our Mackay workshop. You will be carrying out servicing across our diverse range of premium brands and getting hands-on within a dynamic team environment. This is a Monday to Friday role with 38 regular working hours with potential overtime available.
- Diverse service work including diagnosis, servicing and minor/major repairs.
- Actively contribute towards an ongoing improvement culture in the safety, quality and productivity of the team.
- Provide great customer service.
- Carry out hands on service work in both the workshop and field environments.
About You:
- Not trade qualified? At Penske we know it's the people at the core of our success so consideration will be given to Technicians who are committed to upskilling and diversifying their trade.
- Trade qualified Diesel Technician with experience in heavy vehicles
- Sound technical knowledge and experience in Western Star, MAN Trucks & Bus, Dennis Eagle, Detroit and Allison Transmission product lines as well as diverse products that Penske supports is desirable.
- Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions.
- Team player who will adhere to and promote the Company's Values & Behaviours.
