Position Outline
Workshop Foreman required for busy steel fabrication & manufacturing business. The Workshop Foreman reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for co-ordinating & supporting production workflow. The successful applicant will supervise a small production team efficiently and ensure a safe work environment delivering completed jobs, meeting quality standards.
Details
Must be trade qualified in an Engineering discipline and be recently experienced in all workshop processes including light to medium Structural Steel, high quality Stainless Steel and Aluminium fabrication, Sheetmetal, and Machining.
Must have competency in resource scheduling & people management, communications & basic computer skills, detailed design interpretation skills, OH&S, stock & equipment management, estimate small job quotes & job planning.
You are an enthusiastic, motivated self-starter who can lead a team. You are an experienced tradesman with current hands-on trade skills. You know how to get the job done.
This position would suit an experienced tradesman looking to move into a management role. High salary range.
40 Hour week. 0700-1600 M-T; 0700 - 1:30F. Weekdays only.
