Duties include
- Produce detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints based on the specifications provided by structural engineers.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate and precise drawings.
- Understand and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents.
- Adhere to industry standards, codes, and guidelines while creating drawings to ensure compliance with regulations and safety requirements.
- Provide detailed drawings that include dimensions, materials, and construction methods.
- Include information on load-bearing capacities, structural elements, and other essential details.
- Work closely with structural engineers and other professionals to ensure that the drawings accurately represent the intended design and meet all project requirements.
- Incorporate changes and revisions to drawings as directed by engineers or project managers.
- Keep drawings up-to-date with any design modifications or alterations.
- Perform reviews and checks to identify and correct any discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain organised records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
- Effectively communicate with other team members, architects, engineers, and construction professionals to address any questions or concerns related to the drawings.
Applicants must have at least 5 years of experience in Australia.
