- Supervise and lead the team to complete required daily maintenance activities
- Lead Toolbox and pre-start meetings
- Perform periodic inspections of recently maintained equipment
- Resolve operational or technical equipment problems
- Provide immediate responses to emergency work orders
- Drive and maintain project timelines and budgets
- Great organisational and leadership skills with an attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Effective performance management skills
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
- Computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related communication tools
- Trade (Diesel Engine) Qualification (desirable)
- Drivers licence
- Work within confined spaces ticket
- Working at heights ticket
- Senior First Aid certificate (desirable)
- 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor (essential)
- Marine experience (essential)
- Experience with CMMS (MEX highly desirable)
- Strong knowledge of technical trades, cleaning procedures and heavy diesel maintenance
- Solid understanding of health and safety legislation and workplace practices
- Familiarity with relevant health and safety standards and regulations
- In-depth knowledge of relevant assets
