Job Description:
The Workshop Manager will run the daily operations of the workshop including staff delegation, ordering parts, quoting jobs, ensure and maintain high level or workmanship, customer communication and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Customer communication/ in person and via phone - explanation of services required/ completed.
- Delegate technicians' daily workload to ensure efficient workflow.
- Order stock for all vehicle servicing and repairs.
- Provide quotes and explanations of required services to customers.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow up and address customer needs.
- Communicate with the administrative team to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience as Service Advisor/ Workshop Manager in the automotive industry.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience in automotive services and use of terminology.
- Ability to work effectively with a team.
- Proficient use of computers, and relevant automotive software.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
