As part of our ongoing expansion, we have just relocated into a new modern workshop and require an experienced Workshop Manager to going our team.
Position Overview
As a Workshop Manager at Custom Signs & Safety, you will need to have a positive attitude, attention to detail and extensive knowledge of various sign making techniques and materials. You will be tasked with ensuring all components of the Workshop run smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage workflow and Job Management including providing leadership and direction to employees.
- Oversee manufacturing and production processes
- Oversee quality control and safe work processes
- Client consultation and quotations including survey, measure & supply concept designs
- Signage manufacturing, installation and vehicle wrapping
- Stock Control
Qualification and Experience
- At least 5 Years experience in signwriting or Workshop Manager role (or similar)
- High level of knowledge in the processes and products within the industry
- High level of attention to detail and ability to meet client deadlines
- White Card and working at heights or willing to obtain
- High Risk EWP & Forklift license advantageous
