Gricon Industries has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Workshop Manager to join our rapidly growing privately owned and operated business.
The Workshop Manager will be responsible for the management of day-to-day operations within our already established electrical overhauls workshop in Greenmount with a hands-on approach and pro-active leadership.
Managing the operations of the workshop including project management, parts supply, and overseeing a team of approx. 15 staff including tradespeople and apprentices, you will possess strong people and customer relationship management skills as well as provide leadership and drive a culture of success, profitability, sustainability, and teamwork.

ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes.
- A pro-active and safety-first mind set.
- A strong work ethic with a focus on attention to detail and ability to drive business growth, culture and cultivate new opportunities.
- Previous experience in a management level role (experience within electrical workshops a bonus)
- Strong communication skills
- Effective people management skills and ability to maintain positive customer relationships.
- Proven record for leading a successful team.
- Ability to manage all aspects of the business effectively including leading continuous improvement initiatives and WH&S
- Proficient computer skills
- Current Electrical Qualifications (mandatory)
- Current LVR/CPR (mandatory)
- Current EEHA (desirable)
- Experience in Hazardous Area Repairs and Overhauls (desirable)
- High Risk Forklift Licence (desirable)
- Current Drivers Licence (mandatory)
The Workshop Manager will report to Gricon Industries Directors.
