Seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to oversee the management and maintenance of the on site workshop

An opportunity exists for a Workshop Manager to oversee various aspects of the workshop operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and productivity.
Your new role
You will be responsible for ensuring the plant and equipment is maintained effectively and efficiently, organising logistic support, negotiating purchase and hire contracts, maintaining plant register and ensuring all activities are completed on time and within budget. This role is based in PNG and offered on a FIFO arrangement from within Australia so you will need to be able to travel internationally for the role. This role is offered on a 22 on 20 off roster. Travel and airfares will be provided from the agreed point of hire.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role you will have relevant tertiary qualifications, prior experience in a similar role, proven management experience and strong people skills to lead a drive a team. You will also need to be able to complete a pre employment medical and a police check.
