Due to growth within our workshop we are now seeking a motivated Workshop & Stores Administrator to join our team.
The Role:
Working alongside our Workshop & Stores Manager you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of company plant, equipment, vehicles, and registers, managing workshop and tool stores, and providing crucial administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of these areas.
Your Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update records of company plant, equipment, vehicles, and relevant registers.
- Oversee the organisation and management of workshop and tool stores.
- Provide administrative support for the workshop and stores function, including document preparation, filing, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Utilize ERP systems to generate purchase orders, job cards, credit card receipts, and other relevant documentation.
- Vehicle certification and expiration management
- Perform accurate data entry tasks, including recording workshop staff time allocation and managing timesheets.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of workshop and stores-related data.
Your experience:
- Proven experience in inventory management and administrative support within a workshop or similar environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and proficiency in utilizing them for generating purchase orders and other documentation.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of workshop operations and familiarity with tools and consumables.
