Windaroo, Brisbane based property investment business is looking for an experienced Construction Project Administrator
Our business markets residential investment property to Clients looking to invest in the property market. We work with builders Australia-wide and have a very strong presence in the emerging NDIS SDA investment market.
Position:
Due to successful strategic company growth, we are seeking a highly motivated Construction Project Administrator to join our Project Manager located in Windaroo, QLD. This role is ideal for someone with experience in building/project administration who is motivated to add to their skill set and scope to include NDIS Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), if no prior experience in this space. Must be willing to hit the ground running and take ownership of the role. You will be working alongside our Project Manager to assist you in onboarding and training.
Key Responsibilities:
In this position, you will play a vital role in:
- Liaising with and negotiating residential and SDA build pricing within our network of builders Australia-wide.
- Read and interpret working drawings, survey plans etc.
- Liaise professionally with stakeholders, including and not limited to: investors, builders, SDA Assessors, LGA’s, third-party referrers, internal property strategists, solicitors, land developers and brokers.
- Enter and manage construction updates on internal project management software.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation for specialist disability projects as required for compliance.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential issues that may arise during project construction and work positively with the builder to ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and regulations.
- Support the development, delivery and handover of projects working with the project team.
- Support the Project Manager with ad-hoc tasks and collaborate when needed regarding the evolving SDA sector and Construction industry standards.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in project coordination or project administration within the residential building industry.
- Experience with Specialist Disability Accommodation is advantageous.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both within a team and independently.
- Keen attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and effective interactions with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, the Google Suite & Monday Work Management system.
- Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions closely.
