The Role:

Rapid Crushing & Screening Contractors Pty Ltd requires a hands-on Workshop Stores/Purchasing team player keen on varied tasks to join our team in Maddington, on a full-time basis, in Mobile and Fixed Plant Crushing operations. This position reports to the Workshop Manager and the main focus will be to ensure all equipment, materials, components, and parts are available, whether it's in our workshop or remote sites in WA, in order for our work to be carried out within tight schedules. 

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Packing and unpacking items for delivery to the site or suppliers in the yard or workshop;
• Creating a stock item system and ensuring stock levels are correct at all times;
• Seeking competitive prices from suppliers and placing orders;
• Preparation of documentation i.e. SDS's, Weed and Seed Documentation for Site approval;
• Liaising with Suppliers, In-House staff and Company executives;

Essential Criteria:

• A valid Driver’s Licence; 
• A current Forklift Licence;
• Minimum of 2 years proven experience in purchasing within the mining or other heavy industry sector;
• Proven experience in sourcing, selecting, and negotiating the best purchasing package for quality, price, terms, delivery, and service with suppliers;
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced organisation, handling multiple projects simultaneously;
• Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail;
• Be able to work Monday to Friday with a reasonable amount of overtime when required
• National Police Clearance (12 months)
• Computer Literate (Microsoft) 

Pre-Employment Medicals along with Drug and Alcohol screening will be conducted as part of the recruitment process and you will be subject to ongoing Drug & Alcohol Screening whilst employed.
