Are you an experienced Welding professional looking for a dynamic role that allows you to supervise and inspect welding operations, lead a team, manage projects, and contribute to developing welding procedures? We have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Welding Supervisor/Inspector to join our client's team.
Key Responsibilities: As a Workshop Welding Supervisor/Inspector, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including but not limited to:
- Allocation of projects to available resources
- Monitoring weld consumables
- Providing training where required
- Assisting the Welding Coordination team
- Monitoring and updating welder qualifications registers
- Development of weld procedures as required
- Communicating with 3rd Party NDT Technicians
- Conducting Internal NDT inspections
- Knowledge and skill in multiple welding processes and materials
- Hands-on experience in welding small, medium, and large weldments and fabrications
- Proficiency in using MS Office - Excel and Word
- Highly developed analytical & problem-solving skills
- Experience in QC/QA and reporting
- Experience leading a team of tradespeople and apprentices.
- Minimum two years of hands-on experience in welding processes and fabrication.
- Demonstrated experience leading and coordinating a team.
- Proven experience in project allocation and resource management.

- IIW/IWS International Welding Specialist
- AS1796 Certificate 10
- AS2214
- IIW/IWI-B International Welding Inspector - Basic
