About the role
As the Wound Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive wound assessment, management and education to our clients and staff across our services. You will work closely with our clinical teams to ensure best practice and evidence-based wound care is delivered to our clients. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of wound care policies, procedures and standards within VMCH.
About you
You have a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, current registration with AHPRA and a postgraduate qualification in wound care.
In addition, you have at least three years of experience in wound care, preferably in aged care or disability settings, where you provided leadership, education, and support to staff, carers and clients.
You have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
