Position Overview:

Looking for a start in the construction industry? Join our team as a Casual Yardperson and play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and safety onsite at our Raeburn Batch Plant, Launceston.  As a key member of our operations, you'll be responsible for ensuring that the site is kept in a safe, clean condition, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and functionality.

Responsibilities: 

• Perform Basic Yard Duties associated with Concrete Batch Plant operation at various sites
• Clean Yard equipment as required
• Willingness to learn FEL Operation for the Batch Plant
• Basic labouring tasks associated with Ready-Mix concrete production
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive and productive work environment.
• Willingness to lean all aspects of concrete production and Transportation in time

Qualifications:

• HR truck licence desirable – training can be provided to the right candidate with a positive attitude
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Dedication to "Safety 1st Always Works" culture.
• Physical fitness and ability to handle manual tasks.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as pressure washers and industrial vacuums.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Positive attitude and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
• Desire to advance to the next level in your career.
