Band 7 - $103,821.73- $116,077.06 + super + RDO (RDO applicable for full-time 38 hours per week only)

As Senior Geospatial Intelligence and Data Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in leveraging geospatial applications to deliver high-quality data management and geospatial services across all functional areas of Council business. Your focus will be on enhancing the use and awareness of geospatial information within the municipality, supporting strategic planning, and system administration, and providing second and third-level end-user support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of Yarra Maps Enterprise system and ArcGIS Enterprise environment.
• Integrate council's geospatial systems with other corporate information systems.
• Provide business support, data analytics, and high-level spatial analysis to produce quality map-based products and recommendations.
• Train and mentor staff in geospatial applications and related systems.

Special Knowledge and Skills

• Expertise in GIS systems such as ESRI ArcGIS Pro, Geomedia Professional, and QGIS.
• Demonstrated experience in digital 3D city models and associated software.
• Proficiency in SQL Server database structures and ETL tools like FME.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as HTML, JavaScript, VB Script, Python, etc.
• Experience in implementing corporate geospatial systems and systems integration.
• Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Geographical Information Science, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
• Substantial experience in spatial information technology, preferably in a local government setting.
• Familiarity with ArcGIS suite software and Technology One's Property and Rating and Works and Assets modules.
