The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with a minimum of 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistical methods, and data manipulation using SQL and Python. 

Responsibilities include investigating and interpreting results, problem-solving core issues within unstructured data sets, analysing large complex data sets, conducting ad-hoc analysis, and collaborating with stakeholders. 

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI/QuickSight, and strong communication skills are essential. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is required. Exposure in the building and construction industry or in ESG field is a plus. The candidate must be highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have excellent organisational and time-management abilities.

Duties will include (but not be limited to)

• Investigate and interpret results to deliver consistent and replicable business insights.
• Problem-solve core issues within unstructured or incomplete data sets providing insights currently not visible.
• Analyse large complex data sets and convert them to management information.
• Analyse large datasets using statistical methods and data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to support specific business inquiries and provide actionable recommendations.
• Extract, clean, and transform data from various sources to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Work closely with the data engineering team to optimise data pipelines and ensure data quality.
• Create models and professional communication presentations that represent complex ideas in a simple manner.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to present findings effectively.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and data needs.
• Show off your effective time management skills while prioritising tasks and adapting to changing demands.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in data analysis and technology. 

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Experience in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI/ QuickSight, is essential.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL and Python.
• Exposure in the building and construction industry or in ESG field would be highly regarded however not essential.
• Effective communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Highly self-motivated with a result-focused approach to planning and overcoming any obstacles.
• Flexibility in the hours that you work, may be required to work outside of normal hours to communicate with global peers/stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data modelling techniques.
• Solid problem-solving skills and an ability to think critically about complex data sets.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
