As a rapidly growing campus of the established Perth Waldorf School, PSC is well on its way to offering a full Year 7-12 curriculum by 2027. We are seeking a talented Year 7 Teacher to help support our mission of providing exceptional Steiner education to students in the Perth Hills. Our supportive team will guide you in delivering the Steiner Curriculum with confidence and expertise.
Here’s what you’ll do as a Year 7 ClassTeacher at Parkerville Steiner College:
- Implement creative, engaging and artistic teaching strategies.
- Ensure a seamless transition for students entering high school.
- Deliver the Steiner Curriculum with a comprehensive understanding of students entering their first year of high school.
To excel in this role, you should:
- Possess a passion for or a willingness to learn about Steiner’s pedagogy.
- Possess an appreciation for the arts or a willingness to cultivate musical or artistic skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively collaborate with other teachers and be engaged with the life of the school.
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant teaching qualification.
- A current TRBWA registration.
- A current Working with Children Check.
- The right to work in Australia.
