Credit Officer - Temp To Perm

TEMP TO PERM, HEARD IT ALL BEFORE RIGHT?

Wrong! This client is in a unique situation where they need someone for a minimum of 2-3 months, and if you are the right fit they will make you permanent.

We know this because we have done other roles where this has been the case also!

Add to this that this is genuinely a great place to work, just ask any of their team with many having been there for quite some time. They have that real family feel to way that they look after each other.

You will also be provided onsite secure parking at their facility.

WOULD YOU BE A FIT FOR THIS ROLE?

I guess we will both have to wait and see as things progress, but in the meantime let's cover off the sort of key responsibilities you would be undertaking.

• Manage a high-volume debtors ledger, chasing overdue invoices within agreed timeframes - you won't be bored!
• Processing and allocation of invoices, credits and payments
• Dispute communication, resolution and management
• Receipting and processing of payments
• Weekly and monthly reconciliations
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external parties.
• Working with their customers to resolve enquiries and to offer assistance in reducing their debt.
• Complying with credit policies and procedures
• Negotiating new payment terms
• Company credit checks and review of credit applications
• Month end processing and reporting
• Daily AR administrative tasks. Policies, Procedures and Organizational Image
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism

So, essentially we are looking for someone that doesn't shy away from having those conversations that other find uncomfortable... in fact, this is where you thrive and where you exceptional communication skills and proactive nature come into their own!

Apart from the communication piece the other key skills they are seeking are...

• Proven experience in debt reduction
• Excellent data entry skills
• Highly proficient computer literacy skills
• Ability to prioritise your workload with exceptional time management skills
