- Fixed term until March 2025
- Part time (45.6 hours per fortnight)
- Remuneration SCHCADS level 5 dependent on qualifications and experience + 11 % Employer superannuation
About the position
Youth Drugs and Alcohol Advice (YoDAA) is a Victorian information service providing specialist youth drug and alcohol information, advice and referrals via multiple channels (email, online, telephone). YoDAA promotes a coherent and coordinated Youth focussed AOD response with a network of specialist partner organisations. YoDAA provides one simple access point to treatment, support and information for young people, carers, education staff.
The YoDAA Youth AOD Advisor works closely with the YoDAA Manager, Senior AOD Advisor, AOD Advisors, YSAS sites and partner organisations to achieve this purpose.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Provide Youth AOD advice, information and referral for a range of audiences making contact via multiple channels.
- Provide support and care planning for people who make contact with YoDAA.
- The development of Youth AOD advice and information materials on-line or in other digital formats.
- Contribute to YoDAA’s project work and capacity building activities in the Youth AOD sector.
- Participate, contribute and reflect in relevant Communities of Practice.
- Collaborate with other YSAS services, other external support services and community.
