The Role As the Youth Development Officer you will be responsible for developing innovative youth focused programs, seek funding and create strong external partnerships across the Town's community facilities. This position reports to the Senior Youth Officer and works closely with the Community Development team members to ensure effective programs are delivered and well communicated. As Youth Development Officer, your ability to effectively engage with young people and wider community groups will be invaluable. No two days will ever be the same in this position so the ability to multi-task and make decisions quickly is also essential. You will be joining the team at an exciting time as the Town embarks on a culture of change with embracing of a wide range of new technologies, a large capitals works program, and a number of other projects that make the Town a desirable place to live and work.
