Kingston Council is seeking a dedicated Youth Worker to join our vibrant team! You'll play a vital role in supporting young people aged 12-25 and their families in Kingston.
What you'll do:
- Design, deliver, and evaluate programs that address the needs of young people.
- Connect with young people and families, promoting services and programs.
- Provide short-term, medium-term, and long-term support on various issues.
- Build relationships and empower young people to make informed decisions.
What we're looking for:
- Experience working with youth and delivering impactful programs.
- Strong assessment and referral skills to support individual needs.
- Experience working alongside stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor programs and deliverables.
- Knowledge of youth development theories and relevant legislation.
- A relevant degree in Social Work, Psychology, Youth Work, or similar.
