About us
Multiple roles available including casual Residential ProgramYouth Workers and a permanent role for a youth worker / business team member. Emerge has been working with young people since 2016 to help them turn their lives around. We have been traditionally known as a cafe, but our programs run deep and help young people in a wrap around capacity.
We help young people who have lost their way to reconnect with education and training, become work ready, and secure meaningful employment as well as find belonging and learn independence inside our Residential Program. Most importantly, Emerge helps young people to get back on track by developing strong, happy, and healthy foundations that result in positive life pathways and full participation in their communities.
One feature that distinguishes Emerge from other youth organisations is that young people have the time to develop at their own pace. Emerge programs allow all participants to gain a sense of belonging, strong positive identity, and the self-belief to pursue their personal aspirations. Emerge provides youth services in an outreach capacity, within our day programs, residential accommodation and social enterprise hospitality programs.
