Who You AreOur team is seeking a talented
Thumbnail Strategist for Spawnpoint media; who can write and strategize thumbnail designs across our span of channels, including Roblox, Minecraft, Reaction, and more. You should have a deep understanding of what makes a thumbnail clickable to different audiences, as well as keeping up to date with the latest trends in thumbnails and children’s pop-culture.Your Responsibilities and Skills
- Write detailed thumbnail briefs for the designers to follow in creating the design.
- Analyse key YouTube metrics and analytics (including AVD, CTR, Impressions, AVP, etc) to determine successful content elements and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyse our competitors and successful thumbnails to keep up to date with what's working.
- Communicate effectively with thumbnail designers and give feedback on Monday.com and Discord.
- Use Photoshop to make touch ups and any final changes to thumbnail designs.
- Implement and integrate current children’s trends into your thumbnails,
- Work with the writing department to connect the thumbnail with the video.
Requirements:- At least 1-2+ years of experience in Photoshop.
- Good english and writing skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of what makes clickable thumbnails.
- Experience and understanding in YouTube Analytics and key metrics (AVD, CTR, Impressions, etc)
- Great communication and activeness.
- Ability to meet and understand deadlines.
- Ability to understand feedback and act on it.
- Knowledge and understanding of Minecraft, social media and pop-culture trends.
Preferable Additional Skills- Experience with your own YouTube channel.
- Worked with large creators for thumbnails, in the YouTube industry previously.
- Experience in other Minecraft/YouTube industry-specific roles (Builder, Editor, Animator, Actor, etc)
