Central Highlands Regional Council is seeking a Public Relations / Communications Officer to join the team. We are looking for someone with a broad range of experience in Public Relations, who will enhance council's Public Relations capacity and effectiveness.
Your Public Relations and communications experience and knowledge will allow you to successfully maintain and enhance the reputation of council.
Your expertise will support council by:
- Engaging with and supporting stakeholders on Public Relations, media, marketing and branding matters.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of Public Relations campaigns.
- Establishing, building and maintaining effective working relations with internal and external parties.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:
- Minimum of Queensland C class provisional drivers licence.
- Diverse skills which will enable you to deliver Public Relations tasks within a large organisation.
- A high level of competency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Photography and videography skills including editing images and video content.
- A willingness to continue to learn, grow and understand Public Relations within a local government context.
