About the role:Reporting directly to the Head of
1st Line Risk & Compliance, this pivotal role involves spearheading a team of
Technology Risk and Compliance specialists. As the Manager, you will collaborate closely with various business units within our Client & Technology division, ensuring the delivery of top-notch
Risk and Compliance services. If you're passionate about technology, risk management, and leading a team towards excellence, this role is for you.
Your Responsibilities will Include:- Leading the development and enhancement of technology-related Risk and Compliance practices across the Client & Technology division.
- Managing, coaching, and mentoring a team of specialists to achieve outstanding results.
- Implementing and embedding new technology-related Risk and Compliance methodologies and frameworks.
- Providing expert advice and guidance on technology-related Risk and Compliance matters to senior leaders.
- Facilitating the identification and assessment of Technology Risks and controls against business objectives.
- Supporting the establishment of indicators and metrics for material Technology Risks, obligations, and controls.
To be successful in this role, you will have:- Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, or IT-related discipline.
- CISA or CRISC certification is essential.
- 7+ years of Technology Risk/compliance experience, preferably within financial services.
- Strong knowledge of Technology Risk management concepts, frameworks, and standards.
- Advanced ability to research, interpret, and advise on complex Risk and Compliance requirements.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Change management experience in relation to Risk and Compliance frameworks is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the Australian regulatory landscape as it relates to Information Security and Cyber Security risk (e.g. CPS 234).
