How will I help?

We have an exciting new role as a Senior Manager, Risk in Change Payments - Group Technology. The role will be primary work in International and Domestic Payments transformation and as a result extensive experience in the relevant industry standards, products and services, systems, vendors, and large-scale payment transformations are essential to be successful in this role. You will be supporting bank and country critical services transformation in a complex environment.

What will you do?

  • Support the designated Portfolio/Program in risk management activities (identifying, assessing mitigating of Delivery and Delivered risks)
  • Assess change within the Portfolio/Program and ensure any changes in structure, people, process and systems are evaluated in accordance to the Operation Risk in Project (ORiP) framework.
  • Ensure projects are managed in accordance to the Group Project governance, Risk Management framework and Project Management practice to minimise delivery risk.
  • Support Group strategy by assisting the business with the implementation of a risk management framework that strikes the right balance between risk and return within risk appetite and is a key enabler for the successful achievement of program objectives.
  • Take a lead role in activities that provide the business with specialist, outcome-focussed risk advice and insights that influence decisions and enable objectives within risk appetite.
  • Provide oversight of risk-related incidents and breaches with the aim of validating any first line assessments and investigating the possibility of systemic issues.
  • Coach and support Risk in Change (RiC) on the execution of effective risk management practices and provide subject matter expertise where necessary.
  • Promote the development and execution of specialist knowledge.

What do I need?

  • 10-15 years relevant experience with products and services, systems, vendors and largescale payment transformations
  • Talent with design, project management and control skills in equal measure
  • Significant operational risk or compliance advisory experience
  • Experience in a consulting or audit organization
  • Experience in managing teams and facilitation of working groups to achieve successful outcomes
  • Demonstrate able experience influencing senior stakeholders
  • Highly developed analytical and consultancy skills
  • Relevant industry qualifications
