Manager, 1St Line Technology Risk & Compliance

We are seeking a Manager for our clients 1st Line Technology Risk & Compliance team. This is a pivotal role, playing a critical part in the organisational structure.Benefits & Compensation
The role offers a competitive package of up to $200,000 per annum, with the potential for a 20% discretionary bonus.
This opportunity is designed for an experienced professional ready to take on significant challenges and drive strategic change within the Technology Risk and compliance domain.Key Responsibilities

• Oversee a growing team, ensuring effective management and support.
• Demonstrate a strong background in technology and cyber risk, including expertise in data security and managing cyber incidents.
• Lead with a strategic mindset, focusing on operational team strategy, planning, and the development of credible working relationships.
• Engage directly with Technology General Managers, contributing to the strategic direction and reporting on progress.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience in technology, with a strong preference for candidates who have a first-line tech risk background. Second Line of Defense experience will be considered.
• Proven expertise in managing technology and cyber risks, with a preference for candidates knowledgeable in CPS 234.
• Demonstrated ability to manage significant change, indicating this role is suited for individuals who are resilient and adaptable.
• Excellent people management skills, with an ability to build and develop strong, credible relationships.
• A hands-on approach, combined with the ability to think strategically and plan for the future.
