Shining Little Stars Academy is looking to recruit 2 new staff onboard.
We are looking for a ECT / Bachelor in Early Childhood Teacher as well as a educator who has a Diploma to join our team to be a Room Leader.
Our Centre is a 29 placement, Boutique centre located in Coffs Harbour NSW.
With children starting from the ages of 15 months.
Our centre has 3 classes / groups - which are 2 classes which have a max. of 10 children in a room, the other has 9 being from 15 months to 3 years.
We have a chief on board as well as do extra curriculum.
We require a ECT educator / diploma leader to use their knowledge and skills to lead teams of educators and drive the learning, development and wonder of children.
A educator / teacher who is confident and can deliver a school readiness program, write observations and set up age appropriate activities, As well as can plan activities to develop creativity and an interest in learning, physical skills, social skills and self confidence using a variety of equipment and materials.
WHAT YOU NEED: For the Diploma Position
- ACECQA approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education (or studying towards)
- Current First Aid Certificate, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Current WWCC and Police Check
- Previous experience (preferred 2-3 years )and knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and National Regulations
- A willingness to further your professional knowledge
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A deep interest in the wellbeing of young children and their families

- WHAT YOU NEED: For the ECT Position
- ECT - Must have a recognised qualification by ACEQA to work as an ECT. Could also have a Diploma in Child Care and studying ECT degree (working towards) Experience in Early Childhood is desirable
- or Bachelor in Early Childhood (Early Childhood teaching qualification)
