About the Role:
During your apprenticeship you will complete formal studies at TAFE, and gain practical on-the-job training under the guidance of experienced, skilled trades people. At Progress Rail Port Augusta, you will have the advantage of rotating through different sections, giving you exposure to overhaul & repairs of locomotives and their components such as engines, motors etc.
Our Port Augusta site are currently seeking an Industrial Painter Apprentice for a July 2024 commencement date!
Upon successful completion of an Industrial Painter Apprenticeship, you will receive the following outcome: Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology

- Reliable Transport.

- Completion of Year 10 School Certificate or equivalent.

- Commitment to the full term of the apprenticeship and study requirements.

About Our Process
At Progress Rail, we are committed to employing individuals who align with our Values and meet the requirements of the role. As part of the recruitment process, there are a number of checks which may be conducted for a role including police checks, medical, drug and alcohol testing and/or reference checks.
In addition to our normal recruitment process, our apprentice candidates will also be required to undergo an aptitude test on site at our facility.
