What You'll Do
As an Aerospace Engineering Graduate at BAE Systems, you will:
- Assist with activities to ensure that applicable aircraft and aircraft equipment remains technically acceptable by ensuring design standards are not compromised
- Carry out duties that make sure the equipment continues to conform to the authorised basis of certification and specifications of design requirements are authorised within such standards
- Bring issues affecting airworthiness to the attention of the Senior Design Engineer.
- Support technical information reviews that assist to determine the necessary action and embodiment implementation, including specification of design change in a professional manner.
- Manage own elements of engineering work package within your responsibility in accordance with appropriate standard procedures and work instructions including compliance
- Assist in identifying project risks and contribute to the risk management process.
- Support relevant software development processes
- Provide assistance with developing algorithms and control systems through model based design methodologies
- Support integration of developed control systems into software products
