About the Opportunity
The successful applicants for the HMO general position will commence in February 2025. In some circumstances contract lengths can be negotiated for a duration of up to 2 years. The General Stream incorporates a large variety of rotations, including Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Paediatrics and many other Medical Specialty & Surgical rotations. You can access Paediatric rotations in a ward setting, in the Paediatric Emergency or in either of our other two emergency departments - both accredited for Paediatrics for GP training.

Our dedicated General Stream Manager advocates and supports our Junior Doctors who in turn deliver exceptional care and outstanding outcomes for our patients. What you need:
- Must hold or be eligible for AHPRA Medical Registration
- Applicants must meet a minimum AHPRA Supervision level of 2 to be considered for this role Be eligible to hold a Victorian Employee Working with Children's Check
- Primary Medical Degree - MBBS
- Previous experience and completion of Internship
