Our 75-place Childcare Centre in Coomera, located on the beautiful Gold Coast, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Second-in-Charge (2IC) to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations and ensure the highest quality of care and education for our children.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Centre Director in managing the daily operations of the centre
- Lead and mentor a team of educators to deliver high-quality educational programs
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for children, families, and staff
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and the local community
- Support staff in their professional development and training
Requirements
- Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a childcare setting
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with families and staff
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and First Aid Certificate
