Our client based in Brendale in the Northern suburbs of Brisbane, is looking to expand their team due to recent growth in workloads and is ready to take on another apprentice that has the ability to hit the ground running and is eager to complete their Boilermaking or Sheetmetal Trade.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This position will see the successful candidate join a cohesive & friendly team alongside tradesmen who are more than happy to share their knowledge.
The work will primarily involve fabrication and using TIG/MIG welding Mild Steel, Aluminum and some stainless products. There is a wide variety of different types of jobs to do which provides great opportunity to continue learning the trade and become a competent Tradesperson.
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role you MUST be/have:
- Started your apprenticeship and be in your 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year.
- TAFE modules up to date and signed off.
- Sound Knowledge of what is involved in the Boilermaking and Sheetmetal trade.
- Able to retain information and have the right attitude towards work.
- Reliable
- Car & Licence.
- Sound mechanical aptitude.
- Can read and Interpret engineering drawings.
- Be punctual with a good attendance record.
- Be motivated, a self-starter and have a positive attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work safely.
- Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Forklift Licence would be beneficial.
